International supporters visit Glasswing programs in El Salvador

In September, communications executive Mauricio Samayoa and Ariadna Gutiérrez, an international model, actress, businesswoman, and former Miss Colombia, visited El Salvador with our Gala auctioneer Gabriel Butu to support Glasswing initiatives there. What they found was a vibrant community that’s leveraging the tools Glasswing has provided to build a brighter future for local youth.
During their trip, Mauricio, Ariadna, and Gabriel visited Glasswing’s Community Schools and mental health programs. They met members of the Girls Club and heard from them about how Glasswing’s support has provided hope and fortitude for the future. Together, they explored the lively culture in the historic Parque Cuscatlán, where they saw how secure green spaces can nurture the well-being and development of local communities.
All that Mauricio, Ariadna, and Gabriel gained in experience and perspective was incredible, yet it does not begin to capture the impact the local communities have felt from Glasswing’s involvement in their lives. That is something that can be tricky to convey, but easy to feel.
