Glasswing a host of the Ibero-American Parks Congress

The Ibero-American Parks Congress was held on May 16th and 17th at the Parque Cuscatlan in El Salvador with the purpose of bringing together different people to share their perspectives on running international and national parks. Different strategies were shared on the care, management, handling, good practices, and preservation of urban parks so we can help these public spaces flourish.

This event reaffirmed that parks have an enormous potential for transformation and are essential for the development of healthier and more sustainable cities. This is a process that will take years, but it is a path that we are excited to have embarked upon and on must continue. The Ibero-American Parks Congress was made possible thanks to UCCI, the Mayor’s Office of San Salvador, Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Cooperación Española, Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, USAID, FUNDAPARC and Glasswing International.
