Engaging NYC students with a special visit during National Hispanic Heritage Month

To celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month in September, entrepreneurs Carmen Busquets and Lucy Doughty visited with some of our New York City program students. Busquets, from Venezuela, and Doughty, who is of Dominican descent, are known for their cause-driven commitment to supporting youth and women across Latin America, the United States, and Europe.

During their visit, Carmen and Lucy shared their perspective on growth mindsets and helped the students set goals. Each participating student also received a new backpack for the school year.
