Celina highlights the role of AI in mental health in Nostos Conference

Our co-founder and president Celina de Sola recently attended the 2023 SNF Nostos Conference in Athens, Greece, organized in collaboration with the journalism nonprofit iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development). At the event Celina gave a brief presentation on the importance of human connection and the role of technology, amplifying mental health access worldwide. The talk titled “ I told ChatGPT I’m lonely: The role of technology in amplifying mental health access” was broadcasted live on June 22nd, the second of the three-day in-person conference.
Thinkers, researchers, and activists from a wide range of fields also attended, including President Barack Obama, who joined to discuss the progress of the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Initiative to tackle topics such as loneliness and its effects on mental health; the role of arts, AI, and technology; the importance of support systems; and the mental health challenges faced by specific populations, including young people.
