Highlights from the 10th Annual Glasswing Benefit Gala

Glasswing’s 10th Annual Benefit Gala was our biggest ever, with 450 people coming together to create lasting change. Together, we raised $1.3 million for children, youth, and families, increasing access to our education, health, and youth-empowerment programs in 15 countries.

On World Mental Health Day, we were honored to celebrate Gala Honoree Valentina Ferrer, who continuously inspires us with her volunteerism, and Howard G. Buffett, chairman and CEO of The Howard G. Buffett Foundation and recipient of our first-ever Glasswing Humanitarian Award.

An incredible highlight took place when The Howard G. Buffett Foundation pledged $11.6 million to Glasswing’s youth programming in Central America. This support will allow us to reach thousands more young people. Many thanks to Howard G. Buffett for his long-time support of Glasswing and his son, Howard Warren Buffett, for sharing this phenomenal news.

Another major highlight came when Valentina Ferrer announced a new partnership with Glasswing and J. Balvin’s foundation, Vibra en Alta, to support youth in New York City and Colombia. We are thrilled by this opportunity to bring mental health and education programming to more young people.

As we danced the night away to DJ Bash’s unforgettable set, we reflected on the journey we’ve shared with our supporters worldwide. Your contributions fuel our drive to build a brighter future for communities across the Americas.
