As part of our regional alliance with Samsung Latin America, Glasswing held a volunteer day at Bioescuela Popular El Cántaro in Areguá, Paraguay. This marks a meaningful milestone: our first volunteer initiative in the country and an important step in strengthening relationships, sharing knowledge, and building long-term collaboration with the local community.
Samsung employees spent the day contributing their time and skills to create a welcoming, inspiring environment for students, families, and school staff. The event featured four hands-on activity stations focused on creativity, environmental stewardship, and community engagement:
• Gardening and green spaces: working on garden areas, planting, and enhancing outdoor areas.
• Painting stakes and flower pots: adding vibrant, student-friendly designs to enrich learning spaces.
• Seedlings for “Adopt a Plant”: assembling seed kits to encourage environmental awareness and shared responsibility.
• Building the Values Garden: creating a symbolic, permanent space that reflects the principles behind the day of service.
“This volunteer day not only leaves a tangible impact on Bioescuela Popular El Cántaro, but also marks a milestone in our regional presence—opening doors and strengthening our mission to transform communities through strong partnerships and purposeful work,” said Christian Martínez, Regional Project Director at Glasswing.
The commitment of volunteers, families, and school staff could be seen in every part of the day. Parents, teachers, and community members joined in, reinforcing what we know to be true: when people come together with intention, collective action can create positive, lasting change.
