GenNow reaches more than 6,000 youth in 3 countries

We kicked off this year’s Generation Now Forum and Festival in Honduras, then continued on to El Salvador, and culminated the three-day event in Guatemala. GenNow brought together over 2,000 youth in each country. The forum focused largely on the importance of mental health and was headlined by Mexican author and speaker Farid Dieck, whose talk ‘Autocuidado para cuidar,’ covered how to better care for yourself in order to provide better care for others. The festival consisted of educational activities and opportunities for youth to explore vocational interests, as well as competitions, mental health stations, and culminated with live performances from local artists like La Versatil and Carrizal La Sosa from Honduras, Fusiona2 and Los Tachos from El Salvador, and Riah and Kontra from Guatemala. It was a blast! Check out our gallery here and stay tuned for a recap video coming soon on social media.
