Maternal & Child Health

There is a fundamental need to strengthen and ensure access to basic health services provided to children and families throughout the region. Glasswing works with national ministries of health and private partners to provide pediatric, nursing, and preventative health services in rural communities, where children and families have limited access to quality healthcare.

Given that the first years of life are so critical in human development, we implement early childhood development programs as part of community health initiatives, training mothers, teachers, and community-based caretakers. These programs have impacted more than 16,500 individuals.
