Nicaragua is the largest country in Central America, known for its biodiversity and natural beauty, making it a top tourist destination. However, in spite of relative economic stability, Nicaragua remains one of Latin America’s least developed countries. The population still struggles to access basic health and education services. 29.6% of the population lives in poverty and young people face tremendous challenges stemming from limited economic opportunities and social inequalities.
Since 2014, Glasswing Nicaragua has implemented education and community development projects that have impacted thousands of people across the country.
