Beatriz holds a master's of law from Washington University, and a bachelor's in legal and social sciences from
Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala. She is currently the General Counsel at Amzak Capital and has
more than a decade of corporate law experience.
Juan is former executive director and managing director of Citi El Salvador. Under his leadership, Citi worked on several corporate social responsibility projects with Glasswing in which he personally participated. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Central American University José Simeón Cañas (UCA) and an MBA from Columbia University.
Carmen Aida Lazo
Carmen holds a degree in Economics and Business from Escuela Superior de Economía y Negocios (ESEN) in El Salvador. She also holds two master’s degrees, one of them in International Development from Harvard University. Since 2012, Carmen assumed the role of Dean in Economics and Business at ESEN.
Eduardo, a native of El Salvador, holds a bachelor’s in business and marketing from Universidad Rafael Landivar and a master’s in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management. He has more than seventeen years of experience as an entrepreneur in the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Carmen is a fashion and e-commerce pioneer. She was one of the first professional investors in the world of luxury e-commerce. She is a strategic investor whose current portfolio includes Moda Operandi, Farfetch and Lyst. Carmen also sits on the National Council of World Wildlife Fund.
Elizabeth holds a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University. She has more than 20 years of non-profit, marketing, and communications experience, including leadership roles at Catholic Relief Services, AmeriCares and CNN.
Ana Morales is a non-profit professional with over a decade of experience. Born in Mexico, she is passionate about projects that empower the most underserved, including girls, women, and children.
Rama holds a master’s degree in public health from Harvard University and a master’s in psychology from the University of British Columbia. She is a skilled program manager with more than twelve years of experience in international public health and research.
Orlando, a native of El Salvador, holds a master’s in business administration from Columbia Business School. He is the founder and managing partner of Tyrian Investments, LP, a New York-based investment firm.
Rodrigo, a native of El Salvador, obtained a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Virginia. He is an analyst at BlueCrest Emerging Markets Fund, a multibillion-dollar hedge fund.
Emiliano was born and raised in Costa Rica and now is a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division in New York. Emiliano has 15 years of investment banking experience and over the course of his career has advised corporate and financial sponsor clients on over $75 billion in M&A and capital markets transactions.
Ricardo A. Sagrera
Ricardo, a native of El Salvador, holds an master’s in business administration from Columbia Business School. Ricardo runs Viceroy Capital Advisors, a New York-based firm he founded in 2009.
Zita is a director at Hellman & Friedman, a private equity firm in London. She also serves as a director of Web Reservations International and Wood Mackenzie and previously worked at Investcorp. Zita attended Georgetown University, where she studied international relations.
Dr. Magdalena Serpa
Dr. Serpa, a native of Colombia, holds a master’s in public health from Harvard University and an medical degree from Rosario University, Bogotá. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in the design and implementation of nutrition, maternal, and child health programs in Africa and Latin America.
