Carmen is a fashion and e-commerce pioneer. She was one of the first professional investors in the world of luxury e-commerce. She is a strategic investor whose current portfolio includes Moda Operandi, Farfetch and Lyst. Carmen also sits on the National Council of World Wildlife Fund.
Sarah Fandell is an attorney with extensive international experience in development projects and business integrity at the cross-roads of the private and public sectors. She has served as the General Counsel of an international financial institution and US government agencies for over 15 years, and her work with Latin America has included positions in Honduras, Costa Rica and the Inter-American Development Bank Group.
Elizabeth holds a master’s degree in public health from John Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University. She has more than 20 years of non-profit, marketing, and communications experience, including leadership roles at Catholic Relief Services, AmeriCares and CNN.
Juan is former executive director and managing director of Citi El Salvador. Under his leadership, Citi worked on several corporate social responsibility projects with Glasswing in which he personally participated. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Central American University José Simeón Cañas (UCA) and an MBA from Columbia University.
An activist and strategic philanthropist, Ana, has worked for over 20 years in violence prevention, education, and poverty eradication, with particular emphasis in Latin-America. She is a Founding Member of Maverick Collective, an initiative to transform the lives of women and girls around the world and lift them out of poverty. Most recently, Ana is a co-founder at The Beam Network, a membership-based programme that aims to empower women to have greater involvement in the management of their wealth and finances.
Orlando, a native of El Salvador, holds a master’s in business administration from Columbia Business School. He is the founder and managing partner of Tyrian Investments, LP, a New York-based investment firm.
Jana Pasquel de Shapiro
Jana Pasquel de Shapiro, born in Mexico, has a life-long passion dedicated to helping children and youth in Latin America, and has volunteered with girls empowerment programs in the region, as well as supporting migrant youth in NYC. Jana is currently the President of Munnu The Gem Palace North America, located in New York City.
Rodrigo, a native of El Salvador, obtained a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Virginia. He is an analyst at BlueCrest Emerging Markets Fund, a multibillion-dollar hedge fund.
Emiliano is a Managing Director and Head of Consumer and Retail at Rockefeller Capital Management in New York. He has over 15 years of experience in M&A advisory, capital markets, and principal investing. Over the course of his career, he has completed over $100 billion in transactions across a broad range of consumer-facing industries. Emiliano chairs the Board’s Finance committee.
Ricardo A. Sagrera
Ricardo, a native of El Salvador, holds an master’s in business administration from Columbia Business School. Ricardo runs Viceroy Capital Advisors, a New York-based firm he founded in 2009.
Eduardo, a native of Guatemala, holds a bachelor’s in business and marketing from Universidad Rafael Landivar and a master’s in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management. He has more than seventeen years of experience as an entrepreneur in the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Zita is a partner at Hellman & Friedman, a private equity firm in London. She also serves as a director of Web Reservations International and Wood Mackenzie and previously worked at Investcorp. Zita attended Georgetown University, where she studied international relations.
Dr. Magdalena Serpa
Dr. Serpa, a native of Colombia, holds a master’s in public health from Harvard University and an medical degree from Rosario University, Bogotá. She has more than twenty-five years of experience in the design and implementation of nutrition, maternal, and child health programs in Africa and Latin America.
John was named DAZN Group Executive Chairman in May 2018. In this role, Skipper oversees DAZN’s global expansion, rights acquisition strategy and corporate positioning. Prior to joining DAZN Group, John was President of ESPN and Co-chairman of Disney Media Networks. John holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in English Literature from Columbia University and the University of North Carolina, respectively.
Celina Sol Zaldívar
Celina Sol Zaldívar is a Salvadoran social humanitarian and entrepreneur. She is the co-founder of The Gloria de Kriete Foundation, focusing her efforts on youth and community development through education in vulnerable populations. In 2021 she was awarded the “Hija Meritísima de El Salvador” by the Legislative Assembly.
