GenNow Goes Virtual Nov 30th to Dec 6th on En Casa con Glasswing

Four the past four years, Glasswing has been hosting the Generation Now Forum & Festival (GenNow), the movement that celebrates, empowers, and inspires youth to make positive changes in their communities in different countries around the region. This year, the event will be held in a virtual space and will last one full week offering thousands of students from the En Casa con Glasswing community and other young people, many from at-risk communities, a safe space to participate in activities specifically designed for them, including regional tournaments and seminars. 

We are seeking to drive a positive change in the mindset of participants who have spent a lot of time indoors due to the COVID-19 crisis, which led to lockdowns in many Latin American countries. GenNow will be a meeting point for the Glasswing community to acquire new skills and spend time with each other. There will be focused, specialist-led workshops for students and volunteers, as well as parents and guardians. The virtual event will begin on November 30th and culminate with a virtual concert on December 6th. All activities will take place on En Casa con Glasswing’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels.
