Distributing technology to migrant youth in NYC

In New York City, we are continuing our commitment to helping our communities mitigate the multiple compounding effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. High school classes are still completely remote, and many do not have adequate technology to connect to online learning. Students often must attend classes and do homework with little to no privacy, leading to added distractions and heightened stress. In order to support student learning and connectivity, we distributed 100 pairs of noise-cancelling headphones, 175 tablets, and 30 bluetooth keyboards to students living in the Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn.
